Minutes
The meeting was called to order by Shannon Wawruck at 2:03 pm.
Roll Call showed 14 members present and 2 officers excused; Nedra Beal, Vice President and Kay Bauer, Treasurer.
Motion by Ken Pierce and seconded to approve minutes as written. Motion carried.
Treasurers report was read and filed for audit with $796.66.
The 2018 awards are as follows:

Ole Business: None
New Business:
Update on Nedra Beal – She fell and will be needing surgery on her arm which is injured in two spots.
Motion by Ken Pierce and seconded to send Nedra a potted plant at a cost of up to $50. Motion Carried.
Election of officers was held with the following were elected:
President: Nedra Beal
Vice President: Suzanne Knapp
Secretary: Candie Chase
Treasurer/Membership: Shannon Wawruck
Trustee: Eric Nelson
Motion by Tim Hernandez and seconded to cast a unanimous ballot for the dslate of officers. Motion Carried.
The following appointments were made:
Awards: Shannon Wawruck
Newslwetter Mark Sutton
The checking account will have the signatory authority changes as well as a possible bank change.
A newsletter will go out in August with the new officers and contest winners. If you have any suggestions, please let the President or editor know.
For the good of MALPA:
Motion by Tim Hernandez and seconded by Cari Ann Salamon to have a contest of who can sign up the most new MALPA members between 6/24/18 and 6/1/2019. The winner will receive a free membership for the following year. In case of a tie, the winner will be drawn from a hat. Motion carried.
50/50 raffle winner was Shannon Wawruck for $20 and $20 to MALPA.
